Game mechanics and objective

This is Klondike, plain and simple, the version of solitaire your grandparents probably played with a worn-out deck on the kitchen table. One standard 52-card deck, seven tableau piles, and four empty foundation slots waiting to be filled. Your job is to sort every card by suit, stacking from Ace all the way up to King, and you do it while juggling alternating colors on the tableau below. Nothing fancy gets bolted onto the formula here, and honestly, that's kind of the point. The tension comes from knowing exactly what you need and not being sure the deck will give it to you in time.

Control Scheme

• Click or tap a card to pick it up, then drop it onto a valid pile.
• Drag sequences of cards together when the order and colors line up correctly.
• Tap the draw pile to flip fresh cards into play whenever you're stuck.
• Send Aces and their matching suits up to the four foundation spots top or corner side.
• Double-click a card, in most versions, to auto-send it to a foundation if it qualifies.

Score-Boosting Tactics

• Uncover the tableau's face-down cards early instead of rushing straight for foundation moves.
• Keep Kings on empty columns only when you genuinely need the space, not just because you can.
• Hold off sending low cards like twos and threes up too fast; you might need them for sequencing later.
• Work both black and red sequences evenly so one color doesn't get stranded near the bottom.
• Cycle through the draw pile methodically instead of clicking blindly, since order matters more than speed.
• Pause before every move that looks "obvious" — sometimes the safe play blocks a better one three turns down the line.
