Pro-Level Advice
The automatic shooting fools a lot of newcomers into thinking they can just stand still and hold the line. That's a fast way to get swallowed by the horde. Positioning matters way more than trigger discipline here, since your hero fires on their own but the zombies don't care about your line of sight, they just funnel toward you from every angle. Kiting in wide loops while your weapon chews through the crowd behind you tends to keep runs alive far longer than sitting in one spot hoping for the best. Chests and rare keys are worth detouring for even mid-wave, because the crafting materials you scrape together directly decide whether your late-game weapon upgrades actually hit hard enough to matter. In Defense mode, don't dump every card on offense early; the drill dies fast if you ignore a lane, so spread your deck's early plays across all approach points before committing to a big damage spike. Reviving allies costs precious seconds, so try to clear a small pocket of space before tapping that button, otherwise you're both going down together.
